Why did you join this site?
My friends kept nudging me to get one. And um... for cosplay and photo dumping showcasing.

What does your username have to do with you? Is it a combination of your favorite things, or a character of yours?
"Hikaru" was the name of my favorite character from CLAMP's Magic Knight Rayearth series. She's small, and full of energy. "Jan" is actually a shortened or nickname of my real name. Close friends know this. =P

It's getting colder, and rainy in San Francisco. Anyways, here's some updates.

:bulletblue: Joe, Gen, and I will be attending the Exotic Erotic Ball on October 24. We're not going to the Expo, just attending the Ball. Anyone else going? Oh, what to wear... LOL
:bulletblack: Recent events attended:

Older sister, Gen, and I at Macy's Passport 2009 Charity Event held at Fort Mason in San Francisco.

Gen and I again at San Francisco's LovEvolution AfterParty/rave. We look wasted! Not noticeable, but I was wearing a pink contact lense in my left eye. It glows under a blacklight! =D
:bulletblue: My 21st birthday was fun! My sister, Gen, originally made plans to go to Las Vegas, but she had a little accident and twisted her ankle. (She's fine now) So instead, I had a small party with close friends. Most of my gifts were boozer related gifts. LOL Favorite gifts:

Canon EOS Rebel XSi. Gift from my mom and step dad. :heart: I'll be doing some experimenting with it, and hopefully the results won't come out too lulzy. :XD:

iPhone 3GS 32GB. Another gift of awesome from mom and step dad! Downloaded too many apps, and made lots of website bookmarks for my homescreen already. I love the Mirai Suenaga clock app (shown in pic). :heart: Also, Canabalt is a fun and addicting game, too! I recommend it. It's about $3.99 on the App Store. You can play it here for free: [link]
:bulletblack: Been lots of movies out in the last few weeks, but you guys NEED to go watch Zombieland! I want to watch this movie again. DOUBLE TAP!

Oct. 17-18: Orlando, Florida for my brother, Rourke's college Open House, and step dad's birthday celebration!
Oct. 30- Nov.1: Miami, Florida for my uncle's wedding. Gen and I will be celebrating Halloween around town with some buds!
Dec. 23- Jan. 2: Panama City, Panama. Family vacation.
:bulletblue: I still do not know if my parents will let me travel out to the Philippines this year, but I hope they'll let me! I miss hanging out with my friends and cousins. I hope everyone is doing well over there.

OMG HAI!

I actually bought my belt in a store called Sex Pot Revenge during my Japan trip. However, I did see another belt that looks EXACTLY (vintage look, and everything) like the one in my ID pic at Urban Outfitters on Powell St. in San Francisco. It's located in the men's section. Happy hunting!
